The BLACK Women in MUSIC Festival is a pioneering initiative designed to create spaces for Black American and women of the Diaspora to reclaim their heritage, engage in transformative healing practices, and support one another in all aspects of life. By combining the celebration of music and culture with empowerment initiatives, the festival nurtures an inclusive community that honors and amplifies the unique experiences and contributions of Black women in music and all aspects of life. We aim to foster connections, inspiration, and mutual upliftment through our festival events, 24/7/365 internet radio broadcast and accompanying e-commerce platform.
Introducing the BLACK Women in MUSIC Festival: a 7-day cultural and empowerment celebration taking place over Labor Day Weekend 2025.
The BLACK Women in MUSIC Festival is designed to provide a safe and unique space for Black American women and those from the diaspora to come together for personal, artistic, emotional, professional, and spiritual growth. This festival not only celebrates our rich culture but also serves as a platform for addressing critical issues that impact Black women in music and throughout our communities, both locally and globally.
In addition, we are launching The BLACK Women in MUSIC Festival BROADCAST Internet Radio Station, which will be available for free 24/7/365, with a kickoff date of March 20, 2025. Currently, we are featuring music on the station, which will highlight classic Black American genres such as old-school music, rhythm and blues, and jazz, along with interviews, experts, live broadcasts, and performances.
During the same timeframe as the festival, we will also host the BLACK Women in MUSIC Festival Wellness Retreat. Our exclusive e-commerce membership site will showcase vendors, sponsors, and partnerships, as well as merchandise, music, and art that highlight our talents, fostering a continuous connection with our community.
Our mission is to cultivate a safe and nurturing environment for Black women to share their stories, talents, and experiences. By emphasizing connection and healing, we strive to uplift and inspire our community while providing a platform to reclaim our past and for the celebration and recognition of their contributions.

Our mission is to cultivate a safe and nurturing environment for Black women to share their stories, talents, and experiences. By emphasizing connection and healing, we strive to uplift and inspire our community while providing a platform to reclaim our past and for the celebration and recognition of their contributions.
Despite the significant contributions of Black women, as a whole, in music and all industries, they often face systemic barriers, underrepresentation, and a lack of support networks. The challenges of reclaiming their heritage and addressing mental, emotional and financial well-being persist within this community, creating a need for dedicated spaces that promote healing, empowerment, and mutual support and sustainability.
The BLACK Women in MUSIC Festival tackles these challenges by offering a safe and dedicated space for Black women to connect, engage in meaningful conversations, participate in healing practices, and support one another. Additionally, the festival features the BLACK Women in MUSIC Festival BROADCAST Internet Radio Station and the BLACK Women in MUSIC Festival Wellness Retreat, along with an exclusive e-commerce site for members. These initiatives promote their artistry, products, and services while fostering a strong sense of community and economic empowerment.
